Enjoy our pristine lakes and rivers along with the quite solitude of Canada's Arctic. Canoeing on the Nanook River is a magical adventure that everyone should be able to experience. Wildlife abound along the banks. Drift quietly by muskox and caribou drinking from the edge. Tundra swans and snowy owls are seen often. The river is not a swift deep river and can only be canoed during July. We supply radios, canoes, paddles, and maps of the area. Our float planes pick you up in Cambridge Bay and take you to the drop off point in the river. We then monitor your progress by radio for the rest of your adventure. We then pick you up at the end of your journey and bring you back to Cambridge Bay. The river usually takes about 10 to 15 days. Our rate is US $3000.00 per canoe, based on two people per canoe. You will be expected to supply your own camping gear (tents and sleeping bags, and food etc.). We also have other rivers in the area to canoe. Ask us about the other options available.
